Garden of Wishes

Garden of Wishes at the Peace Palace, The Hague  - ongoing exhibition
 
In three days of workshops we co-created the Garden of Wishes during open workshops. In total we've folded about 1300 wishes into Kusudama's, which are magical medicine bolls. With small succulents, earth, water and ribbons they are suspended beneath the installation of three overlapping circles where they may bloom together. It is a ritual especially designed for this situation and location, with the intention of magnifying the power of the wishes.
